The Carioca peach tree has vigorous growth and half-open development. It blossoms early in the season, has a medium bloom set, and a very good production rate every year.

Carioca peaches have red skin and white flesh. They have a flat "bagel-like" shape, with an average size of AA. They have very good firmness, are easily handled and have a low cracking rate.
