The Colorado apricot tree has vigorous growth and half-straight development. It blossoms early in the season and has low chilling requirements. Flowering is very good and it has a great production rate every year.

Colorado apricots are orange with a high percentage of red blush and are round, slightly elongated, with an average size of AA-AAA. They have very good firmness, are easily handled and are resistant to cracking.
